Explore the wonders of Santarém, the Portuguese capital of the Gothic architecture, taste the famous Sopa da Pedra (stone soup) in Almeirim and know its legend. After lunch, we make a stop at the Royal Falconry of Salvaterra de Magos to learn the origins of the relationship between hawks and Men and to attend a flight demonstration. At the Companhia das Lezírias stud farm, meet the horses that are so associated with this region and, by the end of the afternoon, nothing better than a wine tasting at Herdade do Catapereiro.
