DAY 1 ROME > LORETO
Leave from Tiburtina train station in Rome on the bus (Bus company: “Prima Linee”). It is roughly a 4-hour journey in a comfortable bus that has complementary water, coffee and Wi-Fi for a pleasant trip. You arrive in Loreto (Piazza Giacomo Leopardi) where you will visit the hotel on your own. Spend the night in a hotel.
DAY 2 LORETO
Breakfast at the hotel.
You have a free day to spending visiting the Marian cult capital. Loreto is shaped like an enormous sanctuary, protected by great walls and bastions built in the sixteenth century.
The history of the “Shrine of the Holy House” starts in the thirteenth century when it was transported from Virgin Mary's home in the Holy Land, to Italy during the Crusades after the Christian armies' defeat.
The Virgin Mary Square is the city's beating heart, and the staggering combination of beautiful architecture and rock-hard faith is something you will only experience once.
A visit to the Pinacoteca Museum within the Apostolique Palace is a must – here, you can marvel at Lorenzo Lotto’s masterpieces and an important collection of ceramic artworks.
The tour carries on past Boccalini street shops, past the stunning Piazzale Loreto apses and eventually gives you the opportunity to appreciate a fantastic scenic city view from Giovanni XXIII Square.
Spend the night in a hotel.
DAY 3 LORETO > ROME
Breakfast at the hotel.
Go back to Rome on the bus. Tour services end upon arrival.
