This is a half-day private tour to sight-see some of Bodrum's highlights, such as Myndos Gate, the amphitheatre, the Crusader Castle and the amazing windmills which lie on the tops of the hills between Bodrum and Gumbet.
You start the tour with a visit to the amphitheatre to take some photos. Accredited to the rule of King Mausolous, this amphitheatre has expanded since the 2nd century AD. Later, you move on to the Myndos Gate which was constructed during the reign of Mausolous and is the place where a great battle happened during the siege by Alexander the Great .
After that, the tour takes you through the windmills that were built during the 18th century and were used during the 1970s. You can check out the amazing views over the Bay of Bodrum which can be admired from this spot inducing a gorgeous view of St Peter's Castle where the tour drives you next. Constructed by the Knights of St John between 1402 and 1409, this castle has an imposing position in Bodrum's Bay. You have free time to explore on your own the castle and the museum of underwater archaeology.
After an hour and half, the tour joins the bus to get back to the hotel.
