Vist Paphos Zoo, which was originally founded as a bird sanctuary. This park is home to a vast number of different species. It houses a wide range of birds and animals from every corner of the planet. You will see parrots and venomous snakes in one of the largest collections in the whole of Europe.
Meet all the residents: giraffe, monkeys, meerkats, crocodile, kangaroos, albino wallabies, mouflon (a type of wild sheep), white lions, tigers and many more. And don't forget ... the the performers: the brightly-coloured macaws and the intelligent owls. Be amazed by the smart and funny tricks performed everyday in the amphitheatre. There are plaes to eat, within the grounds of the zoo, and a museum where you can find out about all the animals who live there. There is plenty of free time to wander through the park at your leisure.
