1st Day (Saturday) MADRID – ZARAGOZA – SAN SEBASTIAN
Departure from JULIÁ TRAVEL bus terminal, l in the Plaza de Oriente underground parking at 8:30 am. You will travel towards Zaragoza. You will have free time to stroll through the old streets of Zaragoza and visit the Our Lady of The Pilar Basilica, patroness of Hispanity. You will continue to San Sebastian in the afternoon, one of the best known tourist destinations because it is where the International Film Festival is held. Enjoy a scenic city tour of this city, marvelling at the astonishing landscape dominated by the bay and the spectacular Conchas beach. Accommodation
2nd Day (Sunday) SAN SEBASTIAN – BILBAO – CASTRO URDIALES – SANTANDER
There will be breakfast at the hotel.
Nearing Mount Igueldo, where you can contemplate the magnificent city views, you then proceed in the direction of Bilbao. You will enjoy a scenic drive through Bilbao and some free time on the esplanade where The Guggenheim Museum is definitely worth a look. Head to the old fishing village “Castro Urdiales.” You will have some free time here to enjoy yourself.
Leave for Santander, a port city located between the sea and mountains, well known for its Sardinero Beach, one of the most famous beaches in Spain. There will be enough free time for you to stroll through this elegant city. Accommodation
3rd Day (Monday) SANTANDER – SANTILLANA – COVADONGA – OVIEDO
There will be breakfast at the hotel followed by the departure for Santillana, one of the most significant artistic towns in Spain. It has architectural treasures like the Collegiate of Santa Juiliana, which is a Jewel among the Cantabria Romanesque Architecture. Next, you will continue to Covadonga and use your free time there to visit the Sanctuary and the Grotto where you will see the Lady of Covadonga- patroness of Asturias. Leave for Oviedo in the afternoon, where you will see the beauty of Saint Maria de Naranco Church on a series of hills. This city is a jewel of the pre Romanic Asturian architecture. 4th Day (Tuesday) OVIEDO – GIJON – CUDILLERO – LUGO
There will be breakfast at the hotel.
Depart for Gijon on a panoramic city tour and before moving on to Cudillero, one of the most picturesque fishing villages in Spain. Head to Lugo in the afternoon. The city is home to one of the most impressive roman ramparts in the world, which has been declared a World Heritage. Accommodation
5th Day (Wednesday) LUGO – ASTORGA – MADRID
You will have breakfast at the hotel, before enjoying your morning scenic city tour. Leave for Astorga, where you will make a quick stop to stroll through the Historical Centre, famous for the Episcopal Palace designed by Antoni Gaudi. Carry on through Medina del Campo to Madrid. END OF THE SERVICE
