Visit the oldest Byzantine church of the island, built in 1115, from the ruins of a 6th century church. Its interior is decorated with wall-paintings and it is considered to be one of the most historical monuments
Next stop is in Mesa Gonia known as the Ghost Village of the island.The Village is named this way due to the large earthquake in 1956, where almost everybody left due to the destruction that the Earthquake caused. Now many people have moved back to the village but the name has still remained. There you are walking around and you can see the traditional architecture of the village.
After Mesa Gonia you will continue to the village of Pyrgos, with its Cycladic architecture, Byzantine churches and a Venetian Castle. The village is one of the highest points of the Island and the view is amazing, overlooking the North West part of Santorini. Now you will have the chance to visit Skaros ( the ruins of the medieval capital), stroll around the village, take pictures of its beautiful churches, and enjoy a magnificent view of the island, once you reach the top of the village.
The last stop of your journey is the Beautiful Village of Oia, which has a breathtaking view over the caldera and volcano and has one of the most beautiful sunsets in the world. .

After the sunset you will board the bus which will bring you back to the point you started from.
