When you get there, you will go on a scenic tour to the Roman Bridge and the Jewish Quarter, taking in the Synagogue and the Great Mosque which is the most famous monument of the Islamic West, built on top of an ancient mosque, and also incorporating Saint Vincent's Christian Basilica.
La Juderia (the Jewish Quarter) is the best-known part of Cordoba’s historic centre. Declared a World Heritage Site, it is also one of Europe’s largest urban areas. Come and see this intriguing neighbourhood dating back to the late Middle Ages, full of narrow streets and reminders of the thriving Jewish population that once lived here.
In the afternoon, you will also visit Cordoba's Great Mosque, built during the Moorish occupation, and later turned into a Catholic Christian Cathedral. Don't miss the most magnificent Islamic icon in the western world and the city's emblem. Originally built as a mosque in 786, it is a melodious mix of diverse and contrasting styles. Discover this stunning building and be amazed by the colourful mosaics and stained-glass windows.
You will also have some free time to grab lunch and take a stroll on your own through Cordoba's historic quarter. As day begins to turn to dusk, you will be taken back to your original pick-up point.
