Club Atletico de Madrid was founded on April 26th, 1903 by a group of students. “Athletic de Bilbao” was the team they formed in the “Basque country”, in the north of Spain. Moving to Madrid to attend university, they formed “Atletico de Madrid.”
You will see many exhibits in the Museum that were kindly donated by D. Pablo Ornaque (an important Spanish collector). Football supporters will learn about the beginnings of football and Atletico's history. Club Atletico de Madrid´s Museum is considered as one of the top five Sports Museums in the world, thanks to all the important pieces that you will find in its cabinets.
You will discover the magic and culture of our Club through the valuable treasures exhibited in the showcases. Take the guided Vicente Calderón tour, which leads you into areas usually reserved for players only.
Opening time Museum: from 11:00 to 19:00. At your leisure
Stadium Guided Tour:
- From Monday to Sunday, 11:00h to 19:00h, Match Days from 11 to the match.
- 24 and 31 December & 5 January from 11:00 to 14:00.
From 04 July to 11 September:
- Monday to Sunday from 10:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- Stadium Guided Tours: 11:00 AM, 12:00 AM, 1:00 PM, 4:30 PM, 5:30 PM & 6:30 PM.
