Andalusia - Toledo 4 Day Tour
Travel from Madrid to Cordoba and Seville, passing through La Mancha and stopping in Puerto Lapice. Cross into Andalusia, where you can explore Cordoba’s beuaituful streets and sights, before moving on to Seville. In Seville, you can explore the many beautiful sights, including the Cathedra, Santa Cruz, Maria Luisa Park and Plaza de España.
1st Day (Monday) MADRID – CORDOBA – SEVILLE
Departure from JULIÁ TRAVEL bus terminal, l in the Plaza de Oriente underground parking at 8:30 am. At the start of the tour, you will head south by car. See Above Cross the natural “Despeñaperros” border into Andalusia, a region that has a fascinating heritage from a past filled with splendour. Arriving at Cordoba, you can enjoy the remarkable tour of its Mosque and other sites which will inspire you to think as you stroll through the narrow winding streets of the Jewish Quarter. You will reach Seville in the afternoon, following a short two hour ride. Dinner and accommodation will be had at the hotel
2nd Day (Tuesday) SEVILLE
You will have breakfast at the hotel, before enjoying your morning scenic city tour. On your tour, you will visit the Cathedral, the second-largest Catholic cathedral, second only to St.Peters in Rome, Santa Cruz, Maria Luisa Park and the Plaza de España. You will have a leisure afternoon to discover this fascinating city. Dinner and accommodation will be had at the hotel.
There is an optional Flamenco tour
3rd Day (Wednesday) SEVILLE – GRANADA
Following breakfast at the hotel, drive east through the Caliphate road to the heart of Andalusia, passing through the vast olive groves on your way to Granada. Tour the world renowned Alhambra complex, which served as inspiration for a number of authors throughout history. Dinner and accommodation will be had at the hotel.
There will be an optional Gypsy Flamenco show at Sacromonte quarter.
4th Day (Thursday) GRANADA – TOLEDO – MADRID
You will have breakfast at the hotel, before enjoying your morning scenic city tour. Drive north and wait for the city to come into view. Reaching toward the Castilla sky, the majestic city of Toledo is where, in olden days, Christians, Moors, and Jews rubbed shoulders as they went about their daily lives. It is a monument to Spanish art, history and spirituality - the entire town is a National Monument. There will be a brief guided tour through the narrow streets of this historical old town after which you will continue with a visit to a well-known “Damasquinado” (gold and silver inlaying in iron) factory. See Above Finally, you will return to Madrid.
