Travel from Madrid to Cordoba and Seville, passing through La Mancha and stopping in Puerto Lapice. Cross into Andalusia, where you can explore Cordoba’s beuaituful streets and sights, before moving on to Seville. In Seville, you can explore the many beautiful sights, including the Cathedra, Santa Cruz, Maria Luisa Park and Plaza de España.
1st Day (Monday) MADRID – CORDOBA – SEVILLE
Departure from JULIÁ TRAVEL bus terminal, l in the Plaza de Oriente underground parking at 8:30 am. You will drive down La Mancha, Don Quixote’s land, with a quick stop in Puerto Lapice. See Above Cross the natural ‘Despeñaperros’ border into Andalusia, a region that boasts an impressive cultural heritage from a rich past. Arriving at Cordoba, you can enjoy the remarkable tour of its Mosque and other sites which will inspire you to think as you stroll through the narrow winding streets of the Jewish Quarter. You will reach Seville in the afternoon, following a short two hour ride. Dinner and accommodation will be had at the hotel
2nd Day (Tuesday) SEVILLE
You will have breakfast at the hotel, before enjoying your morning scenic city tour. On your tour, you will visit the Cathedral, the second-largest Catholic cathedral, second only to St.Peters in Rome, Santa Cruz, Maria Luisa Park and the Plaza de España. You will have a leisure afternoon to explore this beautiful city on your own. Dinner and accommodation will be had at the hotel.
There is an optional Flamenco Tour
3rd Day (Wednesday) SEVILLE – GRANADA
You will have breakfast at the hotel, before enjoying your morning scenic city tour. Drive east through the Caliphate road to the heart of Andalusia, passing through the vast olive groves on the way to Granada and its many treasures. Tour the world renowned Alhambra complex, which served as inspiration for a number of authors throughout history. Dinner and accommodation will be had at the hotel.
There will be an optional Gypsy Flamenco show at Sacromonte quarter.
4th Day (Thursday) GRANADA – VALENCIA
Following breakfast at the hotel, you will start the drive to the Mediterranean coast. Travelling through Murcia, the fertile Segura River garden capital, you will keep going north via Alicante, the second largest city in Valencia. Soon, you will arrive at Valencia, one of the main Mediterranean coast capitals, with its modern Arts and Sciences Architectural Complex. Valencia is also the home of the internationally renowned and scrumptious “Paella”.
Accommodation will be provided at the hotel.
5th Day (Friday) VALENCIA – BARCELONA
You will have breakfast at the hotel, before enjoying your morning scenic city tour. The morning city tour of this radiant city includes a drive through the old city where you will be shown the most significant buildings, after which you will drive past the old Turia riverbed to the most innovative complex “Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias” to see the emblematic exteriors of the six buildings. You will leave Valencia and head north in the early afternoon, travelling down the Mediterranean coast to Catalunya, via Tarragona, the Roman Tarraco. Soon, you will arrive in Barcelona, the principal Mediterranean city, home of the prominent architect Gaudí. Accommodation will be provided at the hotel.
6th Day (Saturday) BARCELONA
You will have breakfast at the hotel, before enjoying your morning scenic city tour. You will enjoy a tour of Barcelona - yes, the same Barcelona referenced in Queen's famous song by the same name, and site of the 1992 Olympic Games. Drive along the main avenues with outstanding modernist buildings by Gaudí such as La Pedrera, most of which have been declared World Heritage buildings. You will also visit the Montjuïc Park: stunning scenery of the city and harbour, Olympic Ring, monument to Columbus and the Olympic Port. See Above You will have the opportunity to explore the city on your own, enjoying the beautiful sights and the local cuisine. Accommodation will be provided at the hotel.
7th Day (Sunday) BARCELONA – ZARAGOZA – MADRID
Following the hotel breakfast, you will head southwest. Soon you will reach Zaragoza, capital city of Aragón, within the banks of Ebro River- the most copious in the Iberian Peninsula. See Above The city was named for Zaragoza, who was known as Cesar Augusta during the Roman period. You will have free time to explore the beautiful city.
