Start by driving to Piazzale Michelangelo, Santa Maria del Fiore, the Gallery of the famous Accademia, then continue to Fiesole, Santa Croce and the Gallery of the Uffizi.
Begin your trip with a relaxing bus tour that takes you to incredible sceneries of Florence and the countryside circling it. First you see Fiesole, a wonderful city of Etruscan origin, located on a hill that views Florence. Travel along the romantic Viale dei Colli up to Piazzale Michelangelo, before making a stop to appreciate the magnificent panorama of the city.
The tour then continues to the historic center with the guided visit of the renowned Accademia Gallery, where you can see the world-famous David, made by Michelangelo and other unique works of art. Next is the exterior guided tour of San Lorenzo Church and the amazing Duomo complex: the San Giovanni Baptistery with its impressive bronze doors and the elegant Giotto’s bell tower.
Later there will be a lunch break before heading towards the Gothic Church of Santa Croce (exterior). As you walk along the Arno River you can see the magnificent architecture of the Uffizi Gallery, the stunning structure of the Vasari Corridor and the ancient church of Santa Felicita. After crossing the striking Ponte Vecchio, its time to reach the historic Piazza Singnoria with the gorgeous Loggia del Lanzi where there are sculptures of great Renaissance artists. After that you’re ready to visit the fascinating Uffizi Gallery, in small groups of maximum 14 visitors, to learn about (and admire of course) the tremendous works of Botticelli, Michelangelo, Leonardo Da Vinci, Raffaello, Giotto, Masaccio, Cimabue and others.
The tour comes to an end at the Uffizi Terrace to enjoy a panoramic view of the city.
